The Opportunity
We are seeking an experience Principal or Lead Software Engineer to join a dedicated team within one of our key client's projects. In this role, you will contribute significantly to both frontend and backend development initiatives, ensuring that solutions meet and surpass the strategic objectives. This position offers a great chance to influence the user interface and experience while working closely with the team and client.
What you'll be doing
- Leading efforts either hands on or guiding team members on the implementation of new features.
- Implement frontend solutions using React and Next.js.
- Implement backend solutions using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Develop responsive, scalable frontend components.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical growth.
- Communicate effectively within the team and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Work on building products from scratch, contributing to architectural decisions.
- Promote a healthy environment to allow the team to thrive and achieve high performance.
Your qualifications and experience
- 10+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on frontend technologies
- Expert-level knowledge of React and Next.js
- Expert-level knowledge of Node and Nest.js
- Solid understanding of state management
- Experience designing with RESTful APIs and / or GraphQL
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure.
- Proven track record of contributing to products built from scratch.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading a team of engineers providing guidance and making product/technical decisions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building LLM based workflows
- Familiarity with microservices architectures
