The Opportunity
You will work on an ongoing project within a fast-growing company that has developed an IoT based solution to help preserve cultural heritage through environmental control technology. Most of the company's clients are well known museums in different parts of the world, where environmental monitoring is key for preserving valuable collections. They build products that empower these collections with sensors and analytics to manage temperature, humidity, and light, amongst other environmental variables.
Main responsibilities
Manual Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure product and service quality.
- Identify and report bugs, issues, and potential improvements, collaborating closely with the development team for resolution.
- Perform manual Quality Assurance testing for new features as well as regression testing.
Quality Assurance Automation
- Maintain and improve the test automation framework.
- Implement new automated tests in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Ensure all new features have appropriate automated test coverage.
- Progressively implement QA automation on appropriate existing features.
Your qualifications and experience
Must have
- Proficiency in Cypress and Jest.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation.
- Experience with Git and version control platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Strong debugging skills within browser and mobile Developer Tools.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks like Appium or Espresso.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests for Flutter applications.
- English level Advanced (excellent communication skills – spoken word, written word, grammar and spelling.)
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Dart and the Flutter framework.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven success at startup / high growth stage organization
